Kayak trip down the Blue Juniata River October 14, 2002.

October 14, 2002
It was a beautiful day on the Juniata River today! We went from Howe Park to Ken's Beach. The water was 4.5 on the Newport gauge. I had my Coupe Del Rio. Phil had his Dagger Crossover. We played for a while at Iroquois Falls and the waves from the ledges downstream. It is getting cold! The water splashing in while surfing was about as cold as I want. I guess that means no more surfing for me for a long time. This was probably my last down river trip for the season Kayak trip on the Blue Juniata.
This trip took about 3.5 hours. We took out at Amity Hall.
