We had a good trip down the Juniata River today! We went from Howe Park to Ken's Beach. The water was 3.68 on the Newport gauge.
The Mighty Coupe Del Rio went down today at Iroquois Falls.
I decided to try a different chute than the standard easy one. I knew there was a good one somewhere. I chose the wrong one and the rocks turned me over as I went through. I had to drag my boat up to try again in the right one. It was a very nice chute. Phil then went Back up and came though that chute. We later found some waves to play in.

I was worn out from a trip yesterday in the Dauphin Narrows. The water for that trip was 2.94 at Harrisburg We put in at Dauphin and paddle in the Narrows for a while bumping a lot of rocks while maneuvering. We then went down below the last ledge and had to work our way back up through the narrows. We saw no other boats out there, but there were hundreds of Buzzards. It was fun, but a little too much work. The trip took about 3.5 hours.
