It was a beautiful day Juniata River today! We went from Howe Park to Ken's Beach. The water was 3.65 on the Newport gauge. I took my Otter due to low water. We stopped for a while at Poormans Spring. I set a new record today. I dumped my Otter twice at Iroquois Falls. I also put on my mask and snorkel to check out the deep water below the falls. All I found were rocks. That was the first time I ever went snorkeling in the Juniata River. It was such a nice day we went real slow and just enjoyed it. Some people take their dogs along! Big deal! Shelba brought her cat!
This long leisurely trip took about 5 hours.
