Paddling on the Susquehanna River at the Dauphin Narrows October 5, 2002. The river gauge at Harrisburg was 3.60 feet. Phil, Shelba and I had a great time on the Susquehanna River today. The weather was beautiful. It was a crystal clear day. We went from Dauphin to Fort Hunter, but spent most of the trip playing in the Dauphin Narrows. We were on the water about 4½ hours. We were shocked that there was a naked kayaker out there!!! We didn't look at her though.
